What will I learn in Russian Beginner 1?

Designed for students with no prior knowledge of Russian, the Beginner I course teaches how to communicate in simple everyday situations.

At the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Say hello and good-bye to different types of people (someone the same age as you and someone older or more senior)
  • Introduce themselves and others and provide basic personal information 
  • Respond to an introduction 
  • Ask and respond to basic yes/no and either/or questions
  • Respond to who, what, when, where questions

  • Spell their name and other simple nouns
